How Much Does Lash School Cost in Dallas, Texas?

Let's talk numbers honestly — because "affordable" means nothing without context, and the cheapest program is rarely the best value.

Typical Tuition Ranges in DFW (2026)

  • 320-hour Eyelash Extension Specialty: generally a few thousand dollars, varying by school
  • 750-hour Esthetician program: higher, reflecting more than double the hours
  • Combined 800-hour Manicurist/Esthetician path: priced between the two — remarkable value for two licenses

What Should Be Included in Tuition

When comparing prices, compare what's inside the number:

  • Professional kit — lashes, adhesives, tweezers, practice materials. A kit alone can cost hundreds.
  • Exam prep — written and practical TDLR exam preparation, not just the skills
  • Real client practice — training on actual clients, not only mannequins
  • Flexible scheduling — the ability to train around work and family
  • Instruction in your language — we teach in English and Spanish

A lower sticker price that excludes the kit, the exam prep, or the flexibility will cost you more in the end.

Payment Plans

Most reputable schools offer payment plans — and you should expect it. Ask:

  1. Is there a down payment? How much?
  2. Are payments monthly? Are they interest-free?
  3. What happens if you need to pause?

Don't let the full tuition number scare you off before you've asked about the monthly breakdown. For many students, it's less per month than a car payment — for a license that pays you back for decades.

The Real Cost Question

The question isn't "what does school cost." It's "what does waiting cost." Every month without a license is a month of income you didn't earn. In a shaky economy, a skill that pays is one of the safest investments you can make — nobody can lay you off from your own license.

Red Flags When Comparing Prices

  • Prices that seem too good to be true (corners are being cut somewhere)
  • No kit included
  • No exam prep mentioned
  • Rigid schedules that would force you to quit your job
  • No TDLR license number on the school's website — always verify
